A Small Story… A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed. The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.

The sharp increase in food prices over the past couple of years has raised serious concerns about the food and nutrition situation of poor people in developing countries, about inflation, and—in some countries—about civil unrest. Real prices are still below their mid-1970s peak, but they have reached their highest point since that time. Both developing- and developed-country governments have roles to play in bringing prices under control and in helping poor people cope with higher food bills. In 2007 the food price index calculated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) rose by nearly 40 percent, compared with 9 percent the year before, and in the first months of 2008 prices again increased drastically.

Today, our planet has reached a stage, when environmental pollution is threatening to destroy it. It is further heightened by deforestation, air pollution, global warming and green house effect. Deforestation is the conversion of forested areas to non- forest land for use such as arable land, pasture, urban use, logged area, or waste land. Deforestation results from removal of trees without sufficient reforestation, and result in declines in habitat and biodiversity, and quality of life.

Have u noticed grass??? Even if somebody steps on it, it never gets hurt.... It never hurts others too.... When a wild storm attacks, all the big trees get uprooted.... But the simple grass survives....

Elders and parents need to give a platform to children where they can meet new people and attempt to make friends. Friends add to a child’s confidence and give him a sense of belongings. With friends, a child learns how to socialize, respect and also to take care the feelings of others. And most important, one’s child will be able to find joy with fun and remain happy. But it cannot be assumed that the child will make always good friends, it is the duty of elders to look upon what he is doing. Now a day’s internet plays a vital role where people meet in a virtual world and makes friends. But most often children fall in pray of bad elements that affects their minds and behavioral changes. More over long hours are spent upon useless chatting and e-mails, where parents/elders remains unaware what a child is doing. It explained a sheer wastage of time money and effort. This wastage can be diverted towards some good effort to meet socially useful productive works.

I want to share something with you. Please read the following paharagraph........... While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked stone & scratched lines on the side of car. In anger, the man took the child's hand & hit it many times,not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father...with painful eyes, he asked 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

As we know that the education pattern is going difficult and more difficult simultaneously the competitions, so student have to make some more extra efforts to get higher marks. Students need to devote more time to their studies. Now what a student should do, what technique should learn, how to get good marks in the examination etc, these kinds of questions always come in mind.
